In 2010 I designed and installed my very first WordPress website, for my sister’s Swedish upholstering business. I made some mistakes for sure, but the website did its job and rendered the business a consistent first page ranking. It’s still very much alive and functioning, even though my sister has since retired and sold her business.

Since then I have created a number of various WordPress websites, for affiliate marketing businesses, local businesses, simple landing pages, and lately WooCommerce stores.

My mission is to create beautiful and easily navigated business websites and ecommerce stores. I like simplicity. In the current online landscape I firmly believe less is more when it comes to website design.

I only work with the WordPress and WooCommerce platforms, simply because I believe they are the best. They are extremely customizable, with almost never-ending possibilities for design and functionality through the thousands of plug-ins and extensions available.

And because they are open source, both platforms are free to install.

I don’t manually code websites, themes or functionalities, for two reasons. First, there is no need for it. There are thousands of website themes available, and those can be customized to fit the needs of your business and make your site unique. There are loads of plug-ins for almost any kind of functionality you may want or need, and new ones are developed every day.

Second, I want my customers’ websites to stay secure. If you have a manually coded website, a developer has to manually update it. A WordPress website using existing themes and plug-ins can be automatically updated when new versions are released.

Why make life more complicated than necessary?
